Hi everyone,

I just bought a 1999 XJR, I'm very happy.

I noticed it has a Jaguar mobile phone in the console connected to the hands free phone system inside the car. I didn't expect it to work, but it does.

Can anyone give me any information on this. I assume that I will have to get a phone plan, assuming that it will get disabled soon by previous owner. But just in case I'm wrong, is there a chance this is some sort of Jaguar thing similar to OnStar or something.

No not like onstar .. just simple car phone.. you i will have to get a plan.. phone has it's issue's
