around one terminal of the battery is a quite a bit of white dust(looks like the acid residue from inside the battery)and right above that terminal is a couple melted circular plastic marks about 7 cm wide wasnt there last time i checked,and in the last few days i have been gettin the the message on dash that says CRUISE NOT AVAILABLE,goes away after 5-10 mns and came back after 20 mns once or twice out of the saveral times i drove it in the last few days.

all opinions or suggestions apreciated

 

you need a new battery ...the crack and give the negative terminal some resistance.. giving some little problems to the car.. transmission problems .. light problems. etc.. replace the battery and clean the terminals
