Picked up my XJ last night after her visit to the shop. Suprised at how much I missed driving her. To think there are those who will never experience the pure pleasure of driving a Jag. Good, or bad, there's nothing to describe how good it feels when these big cats are running happy.

Just musing... :D

Yeah, like when I picked up my XK from the tranny shop and expressed a sigh of relief nothing was wrong, followed by "I hope this is the last expense I have on this car for a while", to which the shop Owner ominously replied "Jack, it's a Jaguar!"

Perhaps as the namesake Jaguar is a south american cat, it should be pronounced Hagwar as in Juan. :eek:mmm, maybe not!

Sometimes us americans just need to learn how to read and pronounce correctly.

Well you can call it what ya like, but I'm pretty sure it's Broam it originates in England and refers toa type of 1850's coach with a convertable top. The term is most common with Cadillac as inthe venerable Fleetwod Brogham, although other manufacturers have addedit to give their cars a little class. Sounds better than fake convertable... ;)

I hate those fake convertibles .I see no point of why peoplebothering such a crap thing lol. Oh yes, Fleetwood Broughams have always set the standard of the American AutomotiveIndustry ...Heck more correctly till '96

Sadly cars that set the standards for luxury in the us during the 30's to 50's have all been watered down to a shadow of what they were, take for example, the Imperial, Continental and Eldorado to name a few. Sigh ;)I'd say Jags are better than any of them these days.
