Spacers for an 02 Jag Type S????

Spacers for an 02 Jag Type S????

I was wonder if I would be safe putting 7mm spacers all the way around a 2002 Type S Jag or will this cause the wheels to go beyond the wheel well. The car has the factory 16" but my plan is to go up to the 18" that was the bigger option for this car. Could I go any bigger without any mods or should I stick with the 18" upgrade? Please give any advise because I want to get the best stance with the widest tires with no mods to the wells.

i wudnt add spacers if you want to upgrade to the 18's, cos more then likely ure rims will be wider as it is, and the offset will be good enough to make the wheels flush with the car. U dont want the tires sticking out past the fenders as ure likely to get rubbing when poeple sit in the back or if you go over bumps. I have an X-Type with 18s and mine rubs a lot, i know its a different car, but im sure its a pretty similar set up. ive seen people with 20's on their S's, but i think they must rub unless the have a really low pro tire, or skinny wheels.
