Nice car. However I'm looking for the long wheel base sedan. The above looks to be of the standard wheel base, sporty XJR variety -- with very nice wheels to boot!

 

Those cars are hard to find in reasonable condition. Basically a Vanden Plas with XJR Running gear.

I've had the luxury of working on a few and i must say they are brilliant cars. All the luxury and a ton of performance. GL with the search and i will keep my eyes out for one in good condition.

I finally found a low mileage (43K) in Florida in mid-December. I'm having the tensioners done now and a few other things. Love the look of these X308s. I know we'll always be happy with this car.

What are the details on yours? I just picked up an '02 w/90k miles and love it! Put a thousand miles on it in less than three weeks.

Really like the looks and comfort and the driving. So far the only surprise has been a coolant leak. Seems the rubber hoses got cooked in Florida and needed to be replaced. I decided to have them all done so I won't need to worry about this again. That aside, I'm really happy.
