Hello all.

I just got my 2004 XJR today. What a civil car . Anyways... as I was inputting my favorite radio station presets, I noticed the frequency won't go lower than 88.1 or so. I just came from a Mercedes e500, and it had no problem going to 87.7. I tried manually inputting the number, but no luck. Any ideas?

Where are you and where did the car come from?

 

I am located in New York and I bought the car used from a person in Chicago.

 

Check the countrycode in the radio setup. It may be set to Europe, UK, etc

my 04 xjr is the same way, I drove it today and remembered this thread, I can't get to 87.7 either

 

I have the same problem in my XJ8. It's receiver (radio) sensitivity, which is not designed that well from Jaguar.

 

I looked in my hand book and the radio starts at 88.0. Go figure!!
