Does anyone here have a positive experience with the dealership replacing the exhaust tips under the mfr warranty? I understand from the Mina site that the tips typically loose their luster in about two years as mine have. I tried using a metal polish to no avail. Wondering if the dealership will take care of replacing them under warranty. Any other recommended solutions besides aftermarket bolt-on tips are appreciated.

 

If your car is still under factory warranty, then it cant hurt to try.

It is really up to the service advisor or service manager (hint hint..) whether they replace your trim items under warranty.

I would say the chances are pretty good though, since dealers do make money from warranty work.

The tips on my 2004 cleaned right up, All I used was davids metal polish applied by hand.
