Does anyone know if there is a rollbar available for the x-type, i got some 18X8.5 rims, and every time i have people in the back and take a turn a little quick, the tires on the back rub on the fender. I've looked around, but can't find anything for the x. Also does anyone know where to get a short shifter?

Thanx

Unfortunately no, no company makes a roll bar for the X type. That will have to be a do it yourself project.
Besides, how is a roll bar going to stop your fenders from rubbing on the incorrect size tires you have? To fix that problem you'll need to roll out your fenders, or raise the rear about 1 inch using air shocks or an air bag.

By "short shifter" I'm guessing your referring to the manual trans shifter handle to select the gears quicker with very little throw's giving your trans a quicker shift. Unfortunately for that, no, there is nothing like that out there for the jag x type, it already has the short ,throw shifter. You can't improve on something already perfect... lol

And to save you from further troubles, there are no aftermarket companies that make: headers, intake, and any other engine mods. ( i looked)

Here is one good company that you can look into: http://www.racinggreencars.com/modern/products2.asp?Model=Jaguar%20X-Type

Good luck in your search.

The tire size i have on it is 225/40/18, i thought that wud fix the rubbng but it didnt, before i had some 255/35/18 which rubbed even when no one was sittin in the back when i went over a little bump. it also rubbed when i revved up to 4500rpms and then shifted, i think it cud be my suspension, im thinkin bout changin it, ne ideas of what to change it to? I heard that KW make coilovers, but only the front is adjustable.

You need to put the 17 inch back and that should fix your tire rubbing problem. You're right about the coil overs, only the front is adjustable. As for the rear, I admit that the springs are somewhat loose and you get that chicken squat when you accelerate. Only way to fix that is to order the Arden spring kit which drops the rear another 1.5 inches. Looks sweet and I love it. I run my originally low profile 17's and don't have any problems with tire rubbing on the fenders.

As for the intake, yes, they have one, but I was referring to the intake manifold.
