Curious which brand to use.

Partial to manufacturer's brand given that I still have SE warranty on mine. Talked w/FJT, he pointed out that as long as it meets manufacturer's specs, should be alright.

Thus far, I've only found FRAM filters from my local autoparts distributor. Would prefer to go with Motorcraft, however the parts store could not match up the right Motorcraft filter to the X-type. Store guy recommended giving Motorcraft a call (however, they're closed till Monday), but was wondering if I could expedite this process.

So wondering what your guys' opinions are on this, and if someone has found the correct Motorcraft filter, what's the part number?

dont quote me but some gm guys say not to use fram.Oem parts are the best ,mz recommendation is Wix if available
