View Full Version : Jaguar Technician Information System (JTIS) download
Basically the factory service manual in a computer program... has most diagrams you would need to diagnose anything with the car as well as system faults...
I found it here: http://www.cannell.co.uk/Jaguar_Workshop_Manuals/JCD-1.zip
You can download it, install it with 'setup.exe" (doesn't appear to run on vista though..). Once installed you select your vehicle type and year (only has up to 2003, but has XJ Range, XK Range, s-type, x-type and XJS.
hope this helps somebody as it sure helped me! ( I didn't even get the manual with my car ;\ )

jvegas 02-01-2008, 09:15 AM thanks!
Dennis 02-01-2008, 10:05 AM A very helpful tool for the DIYer..Nice one tg
Yeah and I just found an automotive parts dealer that has access to 99% of the jaguar parts chain :D
jvegas 02-01-2008, 03:17 PM it did not work for me. did any one else get it to work?
how do I get it onto a CD? - it looks liek it belongs on a disk
jvegas 02-01-2008, 06:07 PM no it is a compressed file. but it wont unzip.... help
Markus 02-01-2008, 06:23 PM Worked fine for me, but took me a bit to unzip, setup, etc.....huge file, glad I have cable modem:).
Super, TG - Many thanks!
tarheel72 02-01-2008, 06:32 PM downloaded and unzipped fine, but as stated in the OP post, set up will not work with Vista. I think it is because it is a 16bit program and Vista runs 32bit environment. Anyone know how to open this and set it up on Vista?
Have not tried it yet but know Vista will allow you to set a program to run in compatability mode. Which means you should be able to set it to simulate the native operating system. Do not know if this will work, can give it a shot later in the evening & let you know.
JMan
FactoryJaguarTech 02-01-2008, 06:51 PM JTIS.....ahh how antiquated....lol
I am glad you all getting some much needed info.
mdjohnson1 11-12-2008, 07:35 PM Looks like that link is dead. Anyone able to share the JTIS for the X-Type with me? Please??
Thanks.
christo 11-16-2008, 10:01 AM Same here - I would be willing to host the file for others!
crashdata 11-16-2008, 04:54 PM xp = x32 bit &x64 bit O/S.
Vista = x32 & x64 bit O/S.
So this shouldn't matter.
but when installing under vista try this.
1.) right click on the installation file (i.e setup.exe)
2.) select properties
3.) click on compatibility tab
4.) under compatibility mode make sure to check the box that says "run this program in compatibility mode for:"
-this will enable the drop down list then select. XP service pack 2.
This also works with other program that you might want to migrate to Vista
hope that work
crashdata 11-17-2008, 02:30 PM can someone let me know if this method worked for them?
thanks
queenmb 11-17-2008, 07:49 PM I believe the current issue is not the OS, but the fact that the site where the download was found no longer exists or has moved.
christo 11-18-2008, 07:07 AM Anyone know where we can get it now?
crashdata 11-18-2008, 03:11 PM has anyone tried torrent?
keitho64 12-11-2008, 03:18 PM Excellent post, thanks for sharing. I noticed there is a JCD-1.zip and JCD-2.zip. I downloaded both and am going to try running on Vista. I will take the advice here and then report back. I am out of warranty so I will be fixing the majority of things myself now.
Thank you again!
hrand1987 12-24-2008, 04:29 AM I was able to download and install it by going to the source directory here (http://www.cannell.co.uk/Jaguar_Workshop_Manuals/) 7zip worked for extracting it
During install it informs me that i have to run the dao35 setup in the folder j-cd1/dao35/disk1/setup but when I try to run the setup file it does not work. Has anyone gotten this working?
I am able to browse the folders and find pdf files with loads of information but it would be nice to get the jtis program working.
Im running vista ultimate 64 and the compatibility mode suggestion did not work.
got it running by booting my computer up on xp 32 bit, i have a multi os boot system. Works pretty good doesnt have everything but it looks like it will be good for diagnosing trouble codes

hey hrand .....nice one
Welcome to the forum btw
merry xmas to one nd all
Jim
christo 12-24-2008, 08:36 AM Vista Ultimate 32 bit here - I can't even extract it.
hrand1987 12-24-2008, 10:06 AM No problem its good info to keep jaguars alive. I am planning on buying a 03 xjr friday and will soon be back in the club, (use to own a 96 vanden plas)
christo 12-28-2008, 05:20 PM Still having some problems here with the extraction. I am using winzip and tried it on a xp media center and vista ulitmate box. Winzip reports the file isn't a valid archive and that I should re-download it. Has anyone been able to download it and extract it recently?
ArmyJag 12-28-2008, 05:32 PM I'm downloading as we speak I'll let you know if I make any progress. I can't seem to get the whole file to download I'm on my fourth try now.
christo 12-28-2008, 06:16 PM Thanks bro!
ArmyJag 12-28-2008, 07:28 PM I still can't get the whole thing to download lol
christo 12-28-2008, 08:04 PM Yeah man, what a pain. I can however get it to download but let me run this by you. Download say around 1 hour, but finishes in about 15 minutes? Is this what is happening to you? I just checked the file sizes and I think I answered my own question. Files downloaded are like 20mb when the files on the site are significantly larger. Something might be up with the host. I will keep trying and once I get them I will host them for people - but I will let you know when I am ready.
ArmyJag 12-28-2008, 08:33 PM That's the same thing that is happening to me. My best attempt has made it to 140 mb or so
hrand1987 12-29-2008, 04:53 AM It only worked for me when I went right to the directory and downloaded it. When I tried downloading it from the link in the begining of this thread it would download part of it and then quit, once it downloaded 441 mb out of 459 and quit! Was able to download and extract with vista ultimate 64bit, 7zip, and mozilla firefox but had to boot up xp pro 32bit to run and install it. Doesnt have a whole lot of information though, tried to diagnose my transmission but only shows the zf box. Maybe it will be better for others.
christo 12-29-2008, 08:36 AM Have you downloaded cd 2? What is in that?
ArmyJag 12-29-2008, 09:58 AM I went to the directory last night as well and couldn't get anywhere with it still no dice on either file for me.
keitho64 12-29-2008, 10:19 AM I have the full zip file but do not have a place to host it. If someone wants to host it I can upload the copy I have.
ferret 12-29-2008, 11:23 AM ORIGINAL: jvegas
it did not work for me. did any one else get it to work?
You need a programe like winrar to unzip it, just doing it myself to c if it works...will let you know if it does ...well downloaded it 5 times so far but comes up with "missing files" sometimes bottles out half way through the download but now have downloaded it all but still comes up with "missing files" o'h well not to worry.

The problem is we can not get a full file download.
christo 12-29-2008, 12:56 PM I have a server on my home network and a fios connection with 5mb upload. If someone have something better I would be happy to help set up the hosting. But either way I can do. I can open a ftp site and have you push the file over. Let me know and I will send you the credentials to log in.
keitho64 12-29-2008, 01:00 PM Christo - if you want to pm me with the logon details I can upload the file. Keep in mind it is 470 meg.
christo 12-29-2008, 01:13 PM Message sent - what kind of upload speed do you have?
ArmyJag 12-29-2008, 01:14 PM Sweet maybe we can get somewhere with this.
keitho64 12-29-2008, 01:32 PM christo - my upload speed is about 1.7mbs. It looks like it will take about 1 hour. I am uploading it to your ftp site now. I will send you a note when it is done. Thanks
christo 12-29-2008, 03:53 PM Looks like I have a good upload from Keith - I will test it out tonight and if all is well - let the downloads begin!!!
ArmyJag 12-29-2008, 05:17 PM once you give us the link Christo lol
hrand1987 12-29-2008, 08:26 PM CD2 looks like it is for the xj40 and similar year xjs
ArmyJag 12-29-2008, 09:13 PM That's the one I'm needing :) Don't suppose you have a copy you could upload to Christo?
Christo I'm downloading now in around a hour I'll start working with it.
keitho64 12-29-2008, 09:46 PM christo - I am uploading the JCD-2.zip now so hopefully that will work.
ArmyJag, if you are unable to get the second download let me know. I am not sure if christo will be able to host it. I can burn a copy on CD and send it to you.
ArmyJag 12-29-2008, 10:33 PM I'm 12 min away from the first being downloaded as we speak.
Keitho I really appreciate the offer and I'll probably take you up on it if we can't get it done here on the net.
hrand1987 12-30-2008, 04:49 AM When you do get cd-2 I was only able to browse the folders on vista ultimate 64 and open pdf. The application doesnt run in vista have not tried xp yet. Let me know if I need to upload them.
christo 12-30-2008, 08:13 AM Ok, I have everything in my possession and testing the files as we speak with a fellow member! Once I hear everything is ok I will drop the links to the files. I do have a couple of concerns as this is my home internet connection with a 5mb upload and can probably get overwhelmed rater quickly if everyone jumps on it at once. I don't think there is a file server service on the internet that will allow allof this bandwidth for free - if so let me know and I can push them up to those servers. I am open to suggestions? Maybe we form a list and I can pm with a link to the files until the rush is over? Or maybe I will just let it loose and see what happens - what do you guys think - I will be by my email all day today (working - but nothing to do today - lol).
ArmyJag 12-30-2008, 09:58 AM I would say do the list and pm people the link as needed to keep your internet from getting completely bogged down. I know the bored at work feeling I haven't had much to do for the last 12 months
ArmyJag 12-30-2008, 03:05 PM So far I can only get it to extract. I ran setup exe but it didn't seem to do anything for me.
christo 12-30-2008, 03:15 PM Was that disk1 or disk2?
keitho64 12-30-2008, 03:33 PM ArmyJag -I extracted all files from JCD-2.zip to a temporary directory on my PC. From there I copied all files to a CD to burn. It looks like there is no setup on my files, it just runs a file called Jaguar.exe. I am including some screen shots of the files that were extracted, the structure on the CD and then the welcome screen. I am running vista, this does work but I get warnings about compatibility with Adobe Reader 5 which this is running. I am sure if I play with this I can figure it out.
If you still cannot get the download to work send me a PM with you address and I can ship it to you.

keitho64 12-30-2008, 03:39 PM OK A little more detail - I opened the file StartXJ6.pdf with Adobe version 8 and it is working fine.
ArmyJag 12-30-2008, 03:52 PM That's the thing there is no exe file on cd 1 that I can find I'm burning it to a disk now but I'm not holding my breath lol
Totally unrelated but I want the rims off of the Jag in the 3rd screen shot lol
ArmyJag 12-30-2008, 04:06 PM I think the other problem is when I extract I'm only getting about 4.5 meg of info out of the original 460 meg...
keitho64 12-30-2008, 04:08 PM The CD I was showing was the JCD-2. Here is what is on the JCD-1. I am also including the Table of Contents from the JCD-2.

ArmyJag 12-30-2008, 04:20 PM I think the extraction didn't work last time I'm re extracting as we speak. CD 2 looks like my holy grail though lol
Last run on the extractor only took about a minute this time it's been running much longer. Looking at your directory most of what your showing wasn't there so I think I had a bad extraction we'll see. Crossing my fingers.
ArmyJag 12-30-2008, 05:00 PM Alright it's up and running no issues what so ever. CD1 Seems to cover 95-03 models.
Just make sure that when it extracts it's the full size of the program. Then run the setup exe that is under the main files and it will run perfectly on win xp sp3.
Christo cd 1 distro works perfect :D and I'm ready for cd 2
keitho64 12-30-2008, 05:15 PM Excellent, glad to hear it worked. Let us know how it goes with the second.
ArmyJag 12-30-2008, 06:16 PM 78% of cd 2 downloaded I'm anxiously awaiting it lol
ArmyJag 12-30-2008, 06:42 PM Done downloading worked first try good to go on cd 2
Christo I would say you are in the manual hosting business. Thanks for the help guys!
Wow I just noticed under my name I'm a super member, lol must have a low post count needed to move up....
christo 12-30-2008, 08:55 PM Well special thanks to KeithO64 for supplying and supporting my with the instalation andArmyJag for testing the download and file integrity.
I want to see how much interest is out there so post here if you would like to download it and I will pm you a link. Also if anyone knows of a server out there that could make a good homefor these fileslet me know - maybe on the autouniverse server - let me know. Either way I will carry the responsibility of host them for now - or until verizon sends me into the bandwidth abuse department.
ArmyJag 12-30-2008, 09:30 PM Christo you might want to start a new thread for those that give up at page one.

Sibluiz 01-26-2009, 04:00 PM Thanks again Christo - just downloading at the mo!
Just to let you guys now, have been getting tapping noise from the RH (?? the one closest to the driver!) bank, which gets worse on acceleration, but seems to drop off when take foot off throttle - inital thoughts were timing chain - replaced that (t was as loose as a tarts proverbial!), put engine back in car, and all seemed good....until engine warmed up again and the tapping noise came back.... BuckMR2's post here http://jagmotorproject.blogspot.com/2006/01/motor-project-7-timing-is-everything.html has been really useful in doing this work - now thinking that it might be the shims, the valves, or the valve springs, so am going to start from the top and work down checking it all.....sigh... will try and put some postings up as I'm doing the work, together with some pics, if I can work that bit out!! (bit of a newbie to this forum!)
Any other suggestions or help would be greatly received!! :)
Sibluiz 01-26-2009, 05:11 PM CHeers again Christo for hosting this!! Just finished downlaoding - off to bed now tho so will have to wait till tom to have a look at it! Nice one:D

Jagermeister 02-06-2009, 03:59 PM But if you use some sort of download manager application you'll get the whole thing.
You can google for 'download manager' - There are many options out there (getright, reget) but the one I used was in combination with the FREE firefox browser - 'DownloadThemAll' add-on.
Download and install firefox and then within firefox goto tools > add-ons and install the above mentioned.
Hope that helps..
Cheers!
alain63 02-08-2009, 03:48 AM Bonjour Jagermeister,
I have used your method with using the add on "DTA" for firefox.
It was fine, the first try of downloading was the good !!!
Thanks again for your help :)
cheers!

MBxjr01 02-19-2009, 07:41 AM hey guys i was wondering what is the correct link for the cd 1 ?
bigdadbear 03-26-2009, 05:54 PM Good info, however has anyone had success loading this and using it in VISTA.
Thanks for all the HARD WORK
kelley1988 03-26-2009, 10:11 PM Thanks
blustu 04-28-2009, 01:44 PM Looking at the file creation dates and sizes I have the same version from a different source. I'm running on Vista home premium no problem. I Ran setup as Administrator but don't see why this would have any effect. Maybe you need to run a new version of Acrobat Reader http://acrobat.pdf-master.com/?s=go-uk&a=pdf&gclid=CJ3m2sKdlJoCFWNM5QodUENZNQ just an idea.
onehappyplumber 05-01-2009, 08:33 PM http://redirectingat.com/?id=42X198&url=http%3A//www.cannell.co.uk/Jaguar_Workshop_Manuals/JCD-1.zip
copy and paste in google search bar, still works 02/05/2009
wouldnt work on yahoo
onehappyplumber 05-01-2009, 11:08 PM zip 1 works fine and instals the JTIS Application. Once i run it im asked to insert the disc so i presume you need to download zip 2 and then burn that to disc and use that for the files.
By the way, i purchased the workshop disc off e bay and if i insert that when asked, the whole thing works fine. So its zip1 to instal JTIS and zip 2 to burn as they are the information files.
So who has zip 2.
onehappyplumber 05-01-2009, 11:27 PM Ive posted my zip 1 for you all as i know it works. Down load it and unzip with win rar from c-net downloads.
Double click on SETUP instal and restart your computer.
Then go to dao35/DISC1
Double click SETUP and instal that and youve instaled the JTIS application.
Go to stat menu/all programs scrol down and find JTIS
Click to open it then right click on the black square and send it to desktop
Go back to your desktop and double click on the JTIS Icon
It will open and ask you to insert the disc.
When youve dounloaded zip2 burn the files to disc and use that.
By the way, theres a SETUP in the READERGB file but dont worry about that, its only adobe reader and modern computers have a more up to date version ayway.
onehappyplumber 05-02-2009, 01:03 AM Good info, however has anyone had success loading this and using it in VISTA.
Thanks for all the HARD WORK
zip1 instaled the JTIS program corectly on my hp /vista. it may ask you to reinstal using the desired settings but yes. we just need zip 2 with all the info on now. Check out my posts and ive included the link which worked ok on mine.
onehappyplumber 05-02-2009, 01:46 AM At last all done. Ive made up the second file and copied it to disc. now after the JTIS instalation is complete from zip 1 you make up your information disc from zip 2, (when the boys manage to post it for you) insert the disc when it asks and your up and running.
Good Luck All! (at least we know how it works now)
sacrider 05-05-2009, 10:00 AM After many fruitless attempts at downloading JTIS, I tried HappyPlumber's link with the download them all on firefox and got it to download, but now I can't get it to run. I clicked on "disk 1" and doubleclicked "setup" but nothing happened. Any ideas?
I gotta get this manual to figure out how to change the coolant temp sensor on my 2002 X type. (I don't even know where the temp sensor is!)
Thanks!
onehappyplumber 05-05-2009, 06:28 PM Hi sacrider try right click on SETUP then select run as administrator. ive got a workshop manual ill have a look for you. In the mean time post something in the main section someoe may be able to help.
sacrider 05-06-2009, 09:34 AM Hey Plumber - tried the rt click, open as admin, etc. Seemed to work, restarted the computer, but still nothing.
Has anyone bought a disc off ebay that was worthwhile? The one I bought from an ebay seller called "ssyhpp" is useless.

Do we need to remind everyone here.
THIS PROGRAM DOES NOT RUN ON VISTA.
IT WILL NOT WORK ON VISTA MACHINES.
YOU MUST RUN IT ON COMPUTERS STILL USING XP
onehappyplumber 05-08-2009, 05:34 PM hi merv. ive downloaded this application and im running it on my new hp vista premium. there are a few things one needs to do when instaling but it does work. ive writen step by step by step instructions but its afew pages long, so im not sure if its to long to post. as long as your downloaded file is 470,279KB it will work. you must however remove the tick from the odbc direct file when instaling. then once instaled, you may need to download and instal WINDOWS HELP FILE 6.0-KB917607-x86.msu to get the help program within jtis to work, but i assure you it does work
trucknetjack 05-29-2009, 02:22 PM thanks to christo i can now work on the car.
both downloads work a treat.

They might not be that fast for non-premium users though, but more links are always good to have.
h20boy 08-20-2009, 01:28 PM thanks K, i've heard that the download is hanging or showing corrupt on a couple attempts. That's a great option for download. It is torrent, correct? or just zipped?
K.Westra 08-21-2009, 08:58 AM thanks K, i've heard that the download is hanging or showing corrupt on a couple attempts. That's a great option for download. It is torrent, correct? or just zipped?
It is just zipped (or actually RARed, so you would need WinRAR or equivalent) The site it is hosted on requires a small wait period for free users (I'm a premium user) and somewhat limits the download speed, but it is another option.

It's also possible that people having trouble are running 64 Bit windows? I've tried it on Windows 7 64bit and it does not work. The Program installs fine, but the dao35 files won't install.
On XP 32bit it works perfectly. Be sure to run the dao35 installer after the main program installer.

Thermo 09-13-2009, 11:36 AM MRomanik, if you can find a version that has the 03+ schematics on it, that should give you some good information. May not have all the bells and whistles, but it will cover most of them. The motors and suspension are pretty much unchanged since the start of the X-Type, so, you will be good there. Most of what you may run into problems with is the electrical stuff (schematics not 100% accurate). So, if you can get your hands on a JTIS CD, it should take good care of you. The big thing is figuring out where things are hidden on the CD. Once you figure that out, tons of information there.
MRomanik 09-13-2009, 07:36 PM Thanks Thermo. I have always used Haynes manuals for my cars. This is a good start since there is no Haynes manual for the X Type
Wankel 09-13-2009, 10:13 PM The new one that SuperSport posted works for anyone looking for it still!
Hi
I'm getting an error message (Another application is currently using DAO files. Close all other application. Continue?) when trying to install the dao35 as is asked in the setup file and I'm not running any other programs. Anyone has any suggestions on how to fix it or go around it.
thanks
peniole 11-05-2009, 12:20 PM Any of these manuals work for the XF's?
Found most of what's posted here working on cannell. Interested in downloading the Mitchell Jaguar information system for most models 1983- if it contains any info useful for the XF. I don't want to burden the host site with an unneccesary download. Thanks.

Hi,
i have the same problem, has anybody a solution?
thanks.
SuperSport 11-06-2009, 01:37 PM I don't believe it will install on Vista or Windows 7. It needs XP to function properly. Maybe XP Mode on Win7?
I found a new link for the files:

QuadManiac 11-17-2009, 04:41 PM For those who HAVE successfully installed JTIS - do you see any in depth engine information? All I see is the periphery - accessories, intake, ignition, etc... I was hoping to find full engine internals like the cam chain tensioners. Anybody see this somewhere in the software?
BuckMR2 11-18-2009, 01:08 AM The JTIS is supposedly for use by experienced mechanics (ie Jag mechanics at dealers)
For full info go to Jags GTR site subscribe (£8 for a days subscription when I subscribed) and download /view detailed info.Dont subscribe on a Sunday as the site often goes down then for updates as I found out but did get 5 days free when I conplained

COULD NOT DOWNLOAD THIS FILE,BUT THANKS
m0t0rm0uth 12-06-2009, 10:36 PM File corrupt. I'll try the other ones.
cr4west 12-11-2009, 08:13 PM I used JTIS successfully to go all the way into an AJ-V8 in a 2000 S Type to replace timing chain tensioners, chains, remove cylinder head to have 4 bent exhaust valves replaced. After selecting your make and model in the start screen use the display index button on the bottom left and navigate to "in vehicle repair" to timing chain section 12.65.67.
Disassembly and assembly procedure chapters are directly below. I ran it on my laptop under XP with the free dao35 update download from MS support page.
The pictures were good and you can also print them if needed. It is like having a freind working along with you. Definitely helped with timing and getting the PS pump and AC compressor re-installed easily.
Cheers! It runs!
TRIGGERJUNBUG 12-13-2009, 05:01 PM JTIS DOES NOT WORK .... I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING ,A WAST OF MONEY...
If you buy a cd repair manual, you should not have to buy another cd to
tell you how to use that repair cd. Just my thought on the subject.Could
you picture buying a stack of cd but could not use any of them .That is
what this is like/////////////////////////////////
BuckMR2 12-14-2009, 01:22 PM Strange?
JTIS does work have had a 2004 JTIS and now a 2005 JTIS which covers X type diesel in UK
As proof just look at all the dozens of pics from it I have posted from it over the years to many queries on the site.
compdude97 12-15-2009, 07:38 PM Does anyone know where I can get the JTIS for the 2004 X-type. I know a lot of the information for the 03 carries over, but I would like the specific one for my car if possible.

SuperSport 01-05-2010, 11:03 AM I have a 2002 jaguar xtype i am trying to find a owner manual please help
Many of the Manuals are still available for Download Free from Jaguar at this site:
http://www.ownerinfo.jaguar.com/extfree2viewjagprod/index.jsp
There appear to be 4 different manuals available for your model.
It breaks each of them up into seperate pieces, so you have to download all pieces of each of them seperately, but at least they are there, for now. :icon_wink: I would suggest downloading now while you still can. They keep moving them deeper and deeper into their website, and I assume they will eventually be unavailable directly from Jaguar without a fee.
PS: The link is maintained by Jaguar themselves, so it's completely legal. You can access it from their main site, but I've given the direct link.

jaguar04 01-15-2010, 05:57 AM Thanks again Christo - just downloading at the mo!
i had similar problem , check "air intake connector" , there was a crak on mine. replaced new one from dealer all cool now

It will only run on Windows XP, not Vista or Windows 7. Not sure if that's what you are using, but just a thought. You can run it in an XP Virtual Machine just fine.

Thats the workshop manual not the owners manual and it works on Vista and XP (had it on my last PC which was Vista)
If you had any probs which I didnt on Vista run the program as if it was running on XP from Vista

h20boy 01-16-2010, 11:30 PM The JTIS downloads that supersport linked worked great, I could not load it from my computer as a virtual machine, but once I 'burned' the disc, then installed the program everything worked great. If you don't need the XJS repair manual, skip Disc 2 and all the other .rar files with it, and only download the Disc 1 files.
Schmidlap 02-06-2010, 09:27 AM I wanted to thank everyone for posting the links to JTIS, but I also wanted to share a problem I had installing it and give the solution for anyone else who is getting the same error.
I installed JTIS on my laptop with Windows XP Service Pack 2 and everything seemed to install properly. When I started JTIS it would start alright, and some of the functions would work (What's New, Help, etc), but any of the useful functions like 'Service', 'DTC' etc would cause the program to lock up and I would get an error saying "MFC Application Error" and then the program would close.
To fix the problem you have install 'DAO', some old Microsoft database module. Fortunately, Jaguar included this on the JTIS CDs, so you don't have to go searching for it. In Windows Explorer go the CD, go to the 'dao35' directory and the the 'Disk1' directory. You will see a list of file, double click on the 'Setup.exe' file. This will install the missing program.
You'll probaby have to restart your computer, but JTIS should work properly now.
Thanks again,
Bob
h20boy 02-06-2010, 03:43 PM thanks for the tip Bob!
lah024 02-20-2010, 06:00 AM Thanks great post, I had just purchsed this on e-bay for $10
Mafioso 02-24-2010, 01:54 PM What is the size of JCD-1? for some reason WinRAR will not uinpack these files I keep getting an error, Size mismatch unexpected end of file.
h20boy 02-24-2010, 04:37 PM Try the exe file (http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=34452e2a72b964501686155677bb268589e4b9ac 475cdcd3)then, don't worry about unzipping.

h20boy 03-01-2010, 01:14 PM i had download and install JTIS but there art empty spaces?
Not sure what you're asking red. Can you restate your question?
h20boy 03-21-2010, 03:07 AM I found an ebayer selling the 2005 JTIS (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220575325636&viewitem=&sspagename=ADME%3AB%3ASS%3AUS%3A1123), and its cheaper and less wait than the first UK seller.
If you want the 2004 XJ and some additional features over the earlier versions, I highly recommend this disc.
_Belial 03-22-2010, 01:05 PM Just saying thanks to the original poster, just got my jag a few days ago so this will no doubt prove an invaluable resource. Thanks.
