Do i use the same leather cleaner or something differnet to clean each?? Patrick 06-06-2005, 10:33 PM i dont know that the dash is leather, i dont think it is...on the other hand, the door panels very well could be leather. armour all makes those pre moistened wipes for dash and seats...i use them on my nonner with leather, and theyre great. racerx82 06-07-2005, 10:50 AM Thanks for the info. I hate that brand of cleaner, does nothing but dry out your car. Used to use it on my tires and after only 1 year, the side walls were dry rotted! I'll find something that doesn't contail silicon and alchol.....bad combination for rubber........but hey it looks good rotting out....lol Thanks again..... Patrick 06-07-2005, 07:05 PM hmmm...i have never had tires last me long enugh to dry rot...well, ill tell you what..we have a vendor here who specializes in both interior and exterior car care products, and i have heard nothing but good things about them... link to ask them a question (http://www.jaguarforums.com/m_62/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm#62) racerx82 06-07-2005, 10:02 PM Well he is a vendor and his job is to.........sell? I bet 20 bucks if he had a pile of manor and his job was to sell it and promote it...he would do his best to sell you the best leather cleaner in the world and tell you all sorts of nice things about his digested bi-product…..it’s all natural too!!......He would do his best and try no?? What we need is a third neutral party that can give us a non biased opinions.... Anybody?? Peace... 12-02-2005, 01:19 AM THE DASH AND DOOR PANELS ARE NOT LEATHER BUT YOU CAN USE LEATHER CLEANER ON IT IT WONT HURT. Max 12-06-2005, 08:34 PM Check out Leatherique (http://www.leatherique.com/), others have said it works great. racerx82 12-21-2005, 10:43 PM Thanks for the info, I'll try it in the summer....too cold now brrrrrrrrrrrrrr..... 01-05-2006, 12:32 AM I found Connolly Hide Food on ebay and it works great on my seats. I believe it's no longer being produced since Connolly Leather closed down, but you can still find it at the dealerships too. 01-07-2006, 01:36 AM I use the leather cleaner that jag dealership sells. Works well on pretty much all areas of the interior. And to condition the leather seats, use Conolly Hide Food. Carcareonline.com carries it so does the dealership. racerx82 01-07-2006, 02:32 PM Great! Thanks for the info. |
