Colored Mesh grill
Had a stainless steel mesh grill
sandpapered, primered, and painted it flat black
looks more sporty
as i took off the grill, i saw how much meaner the car looks
was thinking of a diffrent type of grill
maybe one with a all black surrounding
anyone done this?

redjagsport, I have done a custom grille for my Ford Expedition. The issue I see with the Jag grille is the vents in the center of the grille are part of the support for the outside stuff. So, it would take a bit of manufacturing to make something. NOt impossible, but not your average "cut some mesh and slide it in there". Atleast that is how my 03 Jag is. Granted, seeing the crosshatch grilles, kinda looks interesting for me. It would be something different compared to all the other Jags in my area.

Some of the new XJ Jag's on Jaguar.com look awesome with the grills standing out - it almost like jewlery on the car - very luxurois and sporty - movado. But what you have done brings out a certain sportiness to it.
