Why does the Haynes XJS manual cut-off at 1985 vehicles?

I am in need of a workshop manual for a newly acquired '86 XJS V12. It appears that there are only two options—a reprint of the original Jaguar workshop manual, which goes for about $100-$120, or the Haynes manual, which though it can be had for a quarter of the price, but only covers '75-'85 XJS's. Why? Were there any major design changes that occurred between the '85 and '86 model years?
Forget Haynes.
You can get authentic Jaguar manuals on CD from JDHT or any of the usual Jag suppliers:
http://www.jdht.com/webapp/wcs/store...tegoryId=10001
Paper and CD versions often come up on Ebay but watch out for bootleg CDs. If you go with a paper manual make sure to get a parts catalog as well. The CDs usually havea parts catalog incorporated.
Congrats on buying an XJS. Fantastic car. I had one for years and it never let me down. They definately havequirks, though, and you gotta pat 'em on the *** every so often.
Cheers
