Hey Jim! Long time no talk. I'm sorry, I have a new position at my job and it demands much more of my time these days. I'm sorry I been so scarce and sporadic here at the forums. RE: the under supercharger mods you mentioned. The only mod that I made was to put aluminized foil tape on the brand new hoses before I put the S/C back on. I figured it couldn't hurt the longevity of those hoses to keep as much of the heat and oil away from the rubber. The original hoses weren't leaking (yet) but very soft from years of severe heat and soft and sticky from getting oil on them. I think I dodged a bullet. Also, the dark brown insulation pillows were factory Jaguar insulation I found under the S/C when I first took it off. Again, I figured that Jag put it there to protect the hoses from the oven that exists between the bottom of the S/C and the aluminum web covering the block between the heads. So I put it back in place before buttoning my engine up.

    Hi Patrick,

There's no commitment whatsoever. Just register. Read the introductory material - this is the most congenial (and valuable!) forum on the web - lets keep it that way.

    Welcome aboard - Jim

I am interested in joining a group in the NE (Fairfield CT) but am unsure as to what sort of commitment is needed--or even how to go about applying to join. Patrick
