2000 Jaguar Vanden Plas Supercharged / BRG / No-reserve auction
After owning this for many years, I've decided to sell my 2000 VDP S/C, British Racing Green over Cashmere, approximately 92K miles. It's in excellent condition and located in Richardson, Texas.
I have a no-reserve auction listed on ebay with more photos. If you've been searching for one of these, let's talk!

Can't you hold onto it and maintain it in current condition about 5-8 more years....til my X300 wears out?
Have you installed the latest generation timing chain tensioners? Water pump impeller?
Couldn't make out a sunroof in the pics...but couldn't really deny that it has one either - I've heard of them..but never seen an X308 with a solid roof.
Your listing says a matched set of Conti's but the pics show Mich's. Just a minor point someone may ask about.
Well, not yet in the market as I believe I have quite a few years left in the X300 - but those are the Q's I'd ask....
Beautiful car, good luck with the sale.

Can you move up your purchase timeline? I don't want to hang onto this for years--I'd really like to have it sold before the end the summer.
I have not changed the tensioners or water pump, as I have not observed any symptoms of failure for either. I don't believe the supercharged engines suffer the same risk of catastrophic tensioner failure as the normally-aspirated engines.
Yes, it has a sunroof that somehow managed to not make it into photos.
Yes, the current tires are Continentals. My photos predate the tire swap, which is why I mentioned it. That is the only difference from the photos and the car's current state.

Hehe, nah, I was speaking tongue-in-cheek; didn't really expect you to babysit it til I'm ready to shop - though a Super V8, preferably in VDP trim IS what I currently think will be my next car - X308 on the off-chance I can find one in fine nick several years from now - because they are better-looking (IMHO); X350 if I can bring myself to terms with the air-suspension and it's legion of problems.
