P0171,P0174,P0191 and P1236 CODES WHAT DO I DO!
Hi everyone, i am new to this forum but have been reading alot of the posts. I absolutely love this forum great help from everyone. I have some trouble with the car and was hoping for some insight, for about a month or so i have had the check engine light go on and off and the Cruise unavailable light come on and off randomly.I took it to a repair shop and pulled out these codes:
P0171: System too lean bank 1
P0174: System too lean bank 2
P0191: Fuel rail pressure sensore circuit range/performance
P1236: fuel pump not responding to PCM commands
As a result, i failed my emmisions inspection and cannot drive the car very often without recieving tickets. My guess based on what i have been reading here is either a faulty O2 sensor or a vacuum leak. How would i go about fixing this i dont want to take it to the dealer and get raped so i was hoping i could give my mechanic a few places to start. I also have a K&N Air filter, i hope this isnt the culprit but younever no.By the way this is an 02 x-type 3.0 with 56,000 miles in mint condition. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks alot.

You need to start with IMT seals, breather hoseto pcv valve and the plastic hose from brake booster to intakemanifold. The latter is for the cruise not available. The fuel codes could be more in depth or could berelated to the above. Start there. Cheap to fix.
