Guess it just goes with the territory of owning a 13 year old beautiful if not sometimes questionably engineered British vehicle.

Chris

PS: Gabriel, is your headliner back in? I'm still trying to find a shop with the material I like and who will install it on the board for a reasonable price

No Chris is not in.
Saturday i found on the shop only one glue spray so i use it for half of the headliner. If you want to do a good job you must use two 500ml spray tubes, mine was made by Tesa and it handle up to 80 degrees of heat, with this spray i must be very carefully because if i made a mistake i can not repair the glue is so strong.
This is the glue i use
Dedeman Spray Tesa glue extra strong 500 ml - Spray vopsea - Vopsele - Amenajari interioare - Dedicat planurilor tale

I glue from the middle to the back now come the heavy part to glue the other half in front. Before to apply glue i must cut the material at the edge because the material is not so flexible and apply tension in some area. I will make some photo to show you all.
Next week they will bring me another spray to finish my work. I will receive also the secondary tensioner and the supercharger oil. I will have a lot of work to do. The best thing is that i made my self all the repair, not paying for.

Headliner is glue and installed on the car. I finish the job today.

Because i bend the headliner you will se on the photo a line on the middle but this will disappear in time, this material used for this job do not have sponge on the back like original fabric.

But i like the look, the isolating material is fantastic this was the most important upgrade.

If some one want to fix his headliner he must put isolating material on the roof.

Next job for me is to change the secondary tensioner and supercharger oil
Best regards

Nice job! How do you like the contrast? Are those lights on the ceiling by the grab handle?

I like the contrast very much, the light come from the flash camera.
The bending sign from the middle of the headliner start to disappear, i think in a few days the headliner will be OK.

I think this should be THE pinned post on removing the headliner without removing the rear window.

Thank you so much, saved me a lot of stress!!
