Default X350 Carbon Fiber Interior

Hey all,

I got some 3M CF vinyl from a friend for free and decided to try it out on my interior. I want to give the car a little more modern look inside since my wife always says it looks like an old mans car inside. I think the results came out pretty nice. I've only done the dash and center console for now cause I ran out of material and will have to get some more for the door trim. I also haven't decided what to do with the steering wheel and shifter, but I have a few idea. What do you guys think?

Nice, goes well with the two-tone seats.

That looks really nice, great job on the wrap! I personally love the wood grain, but I'm coming from a $1 Minivan that I drove into the ground that was covered in Dora the Explorer stickers... so there's that LOL

Looks great and have to agree with Cambo that it goes with the seats very well.

BTW: Thank you for making the "grain" all go the same way. Drives my OCD nuts when people mix it up.

Nice workmanship Muddybear, but as an old man, I'd miss the wood (trim). My Wife likes the look of my Jag so I'm safe in that regard or I might be considering the carbon fiber look as well.

Thanks for noticing. That was one of the harder parts of the project. I have the same OCD problem.

Shifter could probably be swapped out fairly cheaply. Have you looked into hydrodipping the steering wheel?

Muddybear,

Looks Awsome!!! Is your two tone interior factory? The STR steering wheel would look great if Hydro Dip is not an option for the stock wheel. Would lose the heat function though, but either way the mod makes your XJ stand out.

Sorry all. Posted photos in wrong thread. Here they are. Photos make the wrap look lighter than it is.
