Parking sensors in x300?

I suppose you might be able to fit X308 bumpers that have the sensors (rear only I think) or you could buy an aftermarket kit and drill your bumper cover perhaps, assuming there is room under the cover between it and the bumper beam.
I don't know if you could use the entire system from an X308 as I don't know how much it is integrated into the rest of the car's electronics. If the park sensors, harness and controlling electronics are fairly standalone you may be able to retrofit it. But again, I have no idea as I've never researched it. Might be interesting for someone to look into though just for kicks.
I recall that I bought an optional Volvo sensor kit for my 2001 Volvo XC70 wagon many years ago, and it was completely standalone taking power from any available switched source and trigger from the reverse lights. Other than drilling the bumper cover, it was a very simple install as even the "beeper" was integrated into the control box in the rear. I assume with a sedan the "beeper" would need to be extended into the cabin.
If the X308 system can't easily be removed and installed into the X300 as a standalone unit, I bet there are aftermarket kits like the system I had installed on the XC70.
That all being said, check out the diagram of the X308 "Park Aid" system from Jaguar Classic Parts. It appears that the system may be somewhat standalone, acknowledging I don't have access to the X308 wiring diagram currently to verify what actually plugs into the module shown.
But admittedly assuming a lot, if the diagram is accurate, it appears that the module may only have 4 or 5 input pins which would suggest a possibility for minimal tight system integration so you may be able to just get power to it and trick it into triggering off of something like the reverse lights

P.S. Does anyone know where the "beeper/sounder" (part 4) is physically located and mounted in the X308?

LNF7352AA Park Aid Control Module
Went and looked on eBay to find some photos of the LNF7352AA "park aid" module, and it appears to have a lot of connections/pins after all but without the wiring diagram it is still hard to say if those indicate tight integration with the rest of the car's systems or are just mostly connections to the sensors and "beeper/sounder". Certainly a significant number of the connections are for the sensors and "beeper/sounder".

OK, found it.... Below is a snapshot from the X308 electrical guide, which shows that the connections to the park assist module are indeed pretty simple with just the four sensor connections, the "beeper/sounder" and basic pos/neg power and a trigger from the reverse lights.
Very interesting and should just be plug-and-play except for cutting the rear bumper cover and verifying there is room. I may even look into this from a salvage car X308. Could be done very cheaply.
