Texas S-Type R Pulls Up to the Jaguar Forums Marketplace

Daily driven S-Type R comes with a fresh change of oil, cold A/C for the hot Texas days, is ready to hit the road with a new owner.

Have you been to our brand-new Jaguar Forums Marketplace yet? Well, now’s the time to visit! Our forum members and vendors have plenty to offer for your Jaguar and beyond, including parts, memorabilia, and more.

Should you not have a Jaguar currently in your garage, though, our marketplace also has a wide assortment of vehicles from which to choose, from projects to daily drivers. In fact, we happened to find one of the latter not too long ago, in the form of a 2003 S-Type R up for sale by long-time forum member Cream.

2003 Jaguar S-Type R

“I’m in the Houston, Texas area,” the seller says. “2003 Jaguar S-Type R, Texas clean title in hand, clean car, good shape for the year model.”

Under the hood of this monster S-Type R is a 4.2-liter supercharged V8, which made 400 horsepower and 408 lb-ft of curb-stomping torque back in the days of the Concorde’s final flight and the knighting of Mick Jagger, all funneled through to the rear wheels via six-speed automatic. It also has a fresh change of oil, guaranteeing it’ll continue to clock the miles for a while to come; it’s already racked up 120,000 thus far as the seller’s daily driver.

The interior of the Jaguar looks as good as it did in 2003, despite being a daily driver. The white leather seating is an excellent match for the blue exterior, with the wood trim adding plenty of class and luxury to the party. You can never go wrong with a big cat like this.

The Texas-based seller was originally asking just $6,200 for the Jaguar, but has since dropped his price to $5,200 or best offer. That is one hell of deal, especially for someone looking to get into the Jaguar lifestyle. We’d certainly jump on it if given the chance.

Of course, if this Jaguar isn’t your bag, there are plenty of Jaguars looking for good homes on our JaguarForums Marketplace right now. Why not come on over to see what we have!
