’94 Jaguar XJS Looks like a Smooth Feline Operator: Jaguar Forums Marketplace Find
Nicely kept, this vintage Jaguar XJS is going to make someone a very nice cruising machine.
If you prefer to travel in style, we’d wager that few rides carry as much external prominence as a Jaguar XJS convertible. And clearly, a lot of folks agree with us. After all, the sleek, long, luxurious grand touring machine lasted two decades in production, with well over 100,000 of them built. Each generation of the XJS featured similar, signature styling that was quite simply unmistakable. And this super clean Oyster Metallic example we found in the Jaguar Forums Marketplace wears it rather nicely.
This ’94 Jaguar XJS is part of the car’s final generation, built two years before this big cat went extinct. But you’d hardly be able to tell how old it is now given its excellent overall condition. That’s to be expected, we suppose, for an enthusiast-owned, one-owner, California car. And save for the tinted windows, it’s also 100% stock. In this case, that’s certainly a good thing, because this Jaguar needs nothing extra to be cool.
The ultra clean ‘vert reportedly runs perfectly, with no check engine lights or transmission issues. A recent cylinder head and steering rack rebuild pretty much sum up the work it’s received. This beautiful Jaguar quite simply needs nothing after living a pampered life in the garage and cruising around on sunny, dry days.
The seller does note that there is some wear and tear here, but you clearly can’t see much in the pictures. Obviously, that doesn’t bother us one bit. This Jaguar XJS is a car that’s designed to cruise, and we’d do exactly that. Because even 20+ years later, there aren’t many cars better suited for that task than this one!
