The Jaguar S-Type R represents a great value, at a price. Sounds contradictory, until you open it up. It’s packing a 4.2-liter supercharged V8 engine, offers a comfortable, cushy ride, and is a total sleeper. No one will see it coming. Oh, and did we also mention that they’re cheap to buy?
Of course, they aren’t exactly cheap to own. Actually, if you buy the wrong S-Type R, it could end up being a disaster. But, that’s not always the case, and if you’ve got an S-Type R, and want to capitalize on that supercharged V8 goodness, then you may be inclined to look for more power. Fortunately, Jaguar Forums user matt170888 has some cheap speed parts that you should hope on, immediately!
First things first is this stainless steel exhaust system. It includes the x-pipe, center resonator and rear axlebacks. There’s a bit of build up on the pipes, but the tips appear to polish up nicely. This system is sure to add a few decibels to the stealthy S-Type R, while still looking relatively unassuming.
Up next is a Caldoofy intake pipe. This polished aluminum intake tube is sure to sharpen up the induction growl from the blown V8 under the hood.
Matt is located in Didcot, United Kingdom, which is worth noting. Shipping costs would be rough for anyone not local to him. He’s asking £300 for the exhaust system, with local pick-up preferred.
