We Want It: 2016 Jaguar F-Type S is a Sweet Machine with Everything

Most of our forum members drive pretty amazing Jaguars. We have a wide variety represented; classics to current models, Land Rovers to sporty coupes. And we love to see all the pictures of your rides, projects, and dream cars. So naturally, when we came across a dreamy F-Type in the Jaguar Forums Marketplace, we knew this Jag definitely deserved our attention.
Listed for sale by frequent contributor StormtrooperFtype, this 2016 F-Type S has AWD and yes–it is a convertible. Considering the fact that the 2016 F-Type S remains one of the best looking cars on the road, period; we just think this is Jaguar at its best, its most enticing.
StormtrooperFtype is seeking a new home for his beloved car. Yes, he’s had a few bumps along the way. But, as many Jaguar fans appreciate, sometimes that goes hand-in-paw with Big Cat ownership.
Well, guys it’s finally time to part ways with my F-Type. Most of you guys have been following this car for a while, it’s made its waves but it’s finally sorted after getting a new engine from Jaguar last month under warranty.
He summarizes the problems he had with his Jaguar. The issues have all been sorted, and the car is under warranty.
For those that don’t know, the car has some strange exhaust issues and has had lots of parts replaced under warranty. Many of which where done because the dealer loved making money on the car. The underpinnings are basically new. Regardless the car is a CPO [certified pre-owned] and has factory warranty remaining until September of this year–and the full 3 years of CPO coverage.
As it sits today it has 28,711 miles. Car is bone stock and was always well taken care off. Car is fully loaded. Super performance brakes with porter field pads, switchable exhaust, upgraded meridian system, black pack 2, vision pack, climate pack, blind spot and rear traffic alert, heated seats, etc.
Ideally, StormtrooperFytpe would like to keep it in the family.
It has a clean title and is really a joy to drive. I would really love for it go to a fellow enthusiast and especially someone from the forums.
Initially, the car was sold for $100K, but he is asking for $42,000, which is pretty amazing.
Yes, it looks gorgeous; this loaded F-Type has been well and lovingly maintained. With 3 years remaining on the warranty; this is stunning, nimble, powerful Jag is definitely worth checking out.
