In late Fall 2016, Jaguar will offer an all-new turbocharged two-liter four-cylinder diesel engine in the US. The “Ingenium” engine is an in-house design by Jaguar from their recently renovated half billion dollar West Midlands studios in the UK.
Over the last decade Tata has been ramping up Jaguar to be a high volume luxury manufacturer. Jaguar is revitalizing itself into a new generation. To compliment their increased production and owner base there are new warranties, infotainment system and more powertrain choices.
Integrating new design theories for both brands and bridging the gap between sport and luxury using all-new chassis’ and drivelines which is the new foundation. The next step envisioned by the Jaguar-Land Rover masterminds is a space age information/entertainment system which will be incorporated over the next couple years.
