Range Rover Sport SVR Ultimate Edition

With top-shelf luxury and breathtaking power, the Range Rover Sport SVR Ultimate Edition is an iron fist in a velvet glove.

Land Rover has just dropped the details on a new edition of the Sport SVR, and it looks like a stunner. Dubbed Sport SVR Ultimate Edition, this machine is packing a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 that makes a whopping 575 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque, which is enough poke to ensure it’ll blast from zero to 60 mph in a brisk 4.3 seconds. Keep your foot buried, and this beautiful beast will pull all the way up to 176 mph, which is as outrageous as it is cool.

Given the level of luxury Land Rover is known for, there’s more to this machine than some robust greasy bits. The SVR team has added loads of special touches to ensure the Ultimate Editions stand out from the crowd, and that starts with a trio of exterior colors. Those looking for an understated look can opt for the Ligurian Black satin finish, but the Maya Blue Gloss or Marl Grey Gloss sound like cooler options. Both feature glass-flake base coats, so you know both hues will pop in the sun.

Regardless of which color buyers opt for the roof, mirror caps, and front grille will be painted in a contrasting Narvik Black, and there are a host of other exterior accents. Along with 22-inch forged alloy wheels and black painted calipers, there’s also a vented, body-colored carbon fiber hood, and wicked black-and-white Range Rover lettering on the tailgate and above the grille. To complete the look, the front fender vents are given a similar contrasting treatment.

There are touches inside the cabin too, including black anodized metal gearshift paddles, illuminated treadplates, and a unique Ebony and Cirrus interior color theme. Up front, there are lightweight SVR sport seats covered in Windsor leather, which should keep occupants from sliding around during the athletic maneuvers Land Rover’s SVR line is known for. In the press release, it wasn’t clear how long it would be before these special machines begin arriving on our shores, but the order books are open now.
