Five Jaguar Concepts We Wish Had Made it to Production

Jaguar Concept Eight

Looking at this gorgeous effort from 2004, I’m hard-pressed to understand why Jaguar didn’t actually pull the trigger on the Concept Eight. It’s beautiful, and especially in comparison to some of the other cars on this list, not far removed from production.

Based on the contemporary long-wheelbase XJ, this vehicle was all about rear-seat opulence, and its defining feature was a glass roof. Given that at the time, rear-seat opulence still just meant acres of leather and wood, it seems like the designers should have just figured out a way to do the roof, and called it good.

Jaguar likely could have charged whatever it wanted for the package.
