From the Forums: 2007 Jaguar XK is Drop-top Gorgeous
New member to the forums shares what it like to finally be a Jaguar owner.
We find a lot of inspiration in writing about Jaguar. It is a car that lends itself nicely to awe. But we find some of our most interesting Jaguar content comes to us from our own backyard: the Jaguar Forums. Our online community represents a large swath of enthusiasts, from those that admire from afar, to new owners, and our seasoned pros.
Conversations in the threads vary wildly. It is a great resource for information on tech issues, chat about different models, and hear about Jaguar-related events.
It’s also just really fun to show off your car, and check out the incredible gallery of our Forum member’s rides. We recently came across this cherry 2007 Jaguar XK. And it came with a great introduction from member ChipnLong.
ChipnLong introduced himself in a thread entitled “Long time British fan / new Jag XK owner from Charlotte, NC.”
“Recently purchased 2007 XK – the nicest, most complicated British Car I’ve ever owned. I’ve owned and restored MGs since I was in high school in the ’70s. Recently restored and sold a ‘54 MG TF and still own a ‘60 MGA.”
In addition to being a new owner of that sexy 2007 XK convertible with a 4.2 L V8, he also is active in the Jaguar and import car community.
“I started a monthly British car pub gathering in Charlotte five years ago called Brits and Brews.”
Definitely check out Brits and Brews online. They put on some top-notch gatherings, and look to be a blast for auto fans, and car spotting. Their next event is coming up on March 14.
Like many Jaguar members, he turned to the forums when he faced the rite of passage known as Jag ownership. In a recent thread, he found help and answers when he was confounded by an odd problem. With an assist from the forum (and AAA) the issue was soon sorted. And he has already started helping out other Jaguar owners by recommending audio solutions for those without Bluetooth.
So, if you aren’t already a member, what are you waiting for?
