Happy 60th: Jaguar Classic is Making Six Matched Pairs of E-Types

E-type 60 Edition

At this point, there aren’t a ton of details on the E-Type 60 line. Notably, in the render at the top of this page, both the coupe and the drophead are right-hand drive. But the press shots of the cars in Switzerland show a right-hand drive drophead and a left-hand drive coupe.

Also, a careful reading of the press release suggests every E-Type 60 car might not all be an actual 1961 model. The finished vehicles will simply be “an existing 1960s 3.8-liter E-type fully-restored to exclusive 60th Anniversary tribute specification.” For the record, I don’t think that detracts from the cool factor at all, it’s just worth noting.
