Jaguar E-PACE P250 AWD Review: Is This Entry-level SUV Daily Driver Material?
Concluding remarks
The E-PACE is a good SUV. It’s compact size makes it easy and unintimidating to drive. The looks alone will get buyers in the showrooms. Hopefully, the fact that it’s generally pretty fun to wheel around will help the sale from there.
That said, as it stands, it’s hard to recommend the P250-powered E-PACE. This $54,190 E-PACE SE has a drinking problem, and the nearly $10,000 in options doesn’t improve the experience that much. Well, other than those 20-inch wheels. Definitely tick that box.
My advice is to swing for an R-Dynamic E-PACE with the P300 engine pack, and then go light on the options and add-ons from there. With some careful buying you can hop into a nicely-built E-PACE R-Dynamic for a little bit less money than this SE, and ultimately have a nicer car as a result of your diligent shopping.
