Jaguar F-PACE SVR Drive Review Jake Stumph Ultra Blue

Final Thoughts on the Jaguar F-Pace SVR

With a price tag just under $90,000 loaded up, the SVR dukes it out with the likes of the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio and the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. With 505 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque, the twin-turbo V6 Alfa cedes a bit of power to the Jag, but it’s slightly smaller size makes it just as agile. The Jeep, with it’s 707 horsepower mega motor under the hood has the straight line oomph to oust the Jag, but it’s certainly not as luxurious, or special feeling inside. There’s also the likes the BMW X5 M and the Porsche Cayenne Turbo, however, those two rigs are substantially more expensive, and, thus, knocked out of contention here.

Different strokes for different folks, but the SVR feels so special from behind the wheel, that it would be hard to turn down the offer to drive one everyday. I hope, for your sake, that you have the means to keep it fueled up, though, because visits to the gas station will be a regular occurence with the F-Pace.

The Jaguar F-Pace SVR is loud, luxurious and lovable, and, if I had kids, I would consider them the perfect excuse to go out and buy one.
