2023 Defender 75th Limited Edition

To celebrate its diamond anniversary, Land Rover is releasing two and four-door Defender 75th Limited Editions in Grasmere Green.

Next year, Land Rover will celebrate its 75th anniversary. To mark the milestone, the company is releasing a special edition model dubbed the Defender 75th Limited Edition. While it will be available in both two- and four-door body styles, this Defender will only be available in Grasmere Green. Under the hood, each example will be packing the mild-hybrid P400 powertrain.

Along with the unique paint scheme, each Defender 75th Limited Edition will feature matching Grasmere Green 20-inch wheels, Ceres Silver bumpers, and a special 75 years graphic. Inside the cabin, there will also be Grasmere Green accents on the dashboard and door cards, and the center console will be finished with a tough-wearing Robustec veneer. For contrast, the seats with be upholstered in Resist Ebony.

As you’d expect, these special Defenders will be packed to the gills with tech. Land Rover’s Configurable Terrain Response is on the menu, so perfect traction is just a setting away, and over-the-air updates will ensure owners have all the latest and greatest software.

Other features which will come standard on the Defender 75th Limited Edition include a 3D surround camera, an audiophile-grade Meridian Sound System, LED front lighting, an 11.4-inch Pivi Pro 2 infotainment system, a head-up display, and a wireless device charger. Additionally, each of these unique Defenders will come with a folding fabric roof.

At press time, pricing for the Defender 75th Limited Edition hasn’t been confirmed. And while it is a “limited edition” model, the press release didn’t include a hard production number, like Jaguar did with the F-PACE SVR Edition 1988.  That model was limited to just 394 examples, so I’m guessing it’ll be significantly easier to score this wicked Land Rover.
