Poor Jaguar S-Type Begging for the Crusher’s Sweet Embrace
Now, wouldn’t you think that after all the effort which went into this car, fixing issues under the hood wouldn’t be that big of a deal? Compared to, say, installing a crazy widebody kit, basic mechanical work would be pretty straightforward.
Even if this motor is completely hosed due to running with a bad timing chain, you could probably get a functional unit swapped in for less than cost of one of the massive speaker banks. That makes me wonder about the story behind this wild ride, and why it’s being dumped instead of repaired.
Because at some point, this Jaguar was loved. Maybe it was loved in a way that I think is borderline criminal, but it was loved still. Ultimately, every car tells a story, and unfortunately, I don’t see any happy ending in the making here. But maybe I’m wrong, maybe there will be a strange twist of fate, and this S-Type will become a legendary 24 Hours of Le Mons car. Anyone want to try and talk the seller down to $500?
