Jaguar XF Sportbrake confirmed for U.S., good lord is it beautiful.

I am an unabashed fan of the wagon and hot hatch genre of automobile. So, you could imagine my excitement when Jaguar sent over news that the stunning XF Sportbrake is coming to the United States later this year. The Sportbrake combines the handsome looks of the XF with the practicality of a wagon, and along the way, manages to look better than the sedan doing it.

For 2018, the XF Sportbrake will come with one powertrain configuration. It will be powered by a 380 horsepower, supercharged V6 paired with a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is standard equipment, as well.

Of course, Jaguar has touted the Sportbrake’s revised chassis dynamics that improve upon the existing XF. Double-wishbone front suspension is utilized, this time with forged, aluminum control arms. Interestingly, the rear suspension is an integral link (multi-link) setup with self-leveling air ride.

Jaguar touts the numerous driving aides that come with the Sportbrake including All Surface Progress Control (ASPC), Adaptive Surface Response (AdSR) and Intelligent Driveline Dynamics (IDD) that put the vehicle’s traction in low-grip situations and cornering ability on the same level as the sedan.

Prices start at $70,450, who is going to hit the dealer and grab one?
