Presented for sale here is a beautiful and elegant 1989 Jaguar XJS that was once owned by Ol' Blue Eyes, Frank Sinatra. With only 4,458 being produced in 1989 this may not be the most rare or highly desirable Jaguar of all time but it is considered to be the last true Jaguar of an unrivaled partnership with Sir William Lyons and Malcolm Sayers who brought both aerodynamics and great instinct for design and value to the table over the strongest years of the British automotive manufacturer. The Chairman of the Board's XJS in still an excellent condition with a flawlessly straight British racing green exterior color which is complimented by the Ivory color leather interior. On the inside of the Jaguar you will find soft and comfortable Ivory leather power adjusted bucket seats with a wood accented dashboard that continues seamlessly onto the door panels and down onto the center console. Other features of the pristine interior include power windows, power mirrors, Air conditioning as well as cruise control and the most important feature of them all a cigarette/cigar lighter we all know the Chairman used frequently. Sinatra's XJS is powered by its original 5.3L 326 cubic inch V12 engine producing 263 horsepower to the rear wheels through a GM Turbo Hydra-matic 400 automatic transmission for one of the smoothest power deliveries in the luxury sport tourer class of the era. This special and unique XJS was once featured in an article written by Sports Car Markets Keith Martin for a Jaguar specific book. A laminated copy of the article will be provided with the vehicle as well as a laminated copy of the registration bearing Frank's name and address and his “FAS II” license plates. This specific XJS sold at Pebble Beach about 15 years ago for over $175,000 but can now be added to any car collection or music lovers stable and preserved to be both a fantastic piece of Sinatra memorabilia or as a tribute to the longest-running model produced by Jaguar!
