Hi there, I just brought a used 2002 Jaguar X-Type yesterday and I found that the CD won't load although I already inserted CD into the 6-CD changer in the trunk. The message on the screen either say "no disc" or it search through each cd but won't play. There is noises when it try to load the CD but it just don't play???

Anyone encounter this kind of problem??Any fixes?? Or I just need to buy another CD changer???

i know this may sound remedial, but make sure the cd isnt upside down. it has happened in the past

 

I tried it in both ways, and it is still the same and I notice that the CD magazine isn't the original one. It is something that made in japan, would it be the problem???

 

its an alpine cartridge. HOWEVER make sure it is the correct one. Is it all black?
