Default Harness Adapter for aftermarket radio with Premium sound system

I have an 01 Jag with a radio with the part number XR8F-18K876-CFAEK It has the premium sound and I was wondering if anyone knows where to get an adapter for the harness to adapt this to an ISO harness on my new aftermarket radio.

I know some people talk about some company in UK... does anyone know for sure what part number and what company to go with? Thanks for any help!

Metra is one manufacturer of such wiring harnesses. They're available from a variety of online retailers.

You can probably find a part number for the harness here:

http://www.metraonline.com/fit.aspx

Then search Google with the terms "Metra" and that part number.

Apparently it is the 70-9500 harness required. I have ordered one with the antenna adapter and a 6.2" nav system (that has support for front+rear cam, external microphone and steering wheel controls) from ebay. Cost $300 to canada including shipping.

I emailed the seller and he replied by saying sound will work except factory woofers wont work with this installation. My other concern is the steering wheel controls. Apparently theres a metra sw kit that can convert jaguar steering wheel controls to be used with any navigation unit. The wiring harness Metra 70-9500 however has a couple of leads coming out for steering wheel controls so i am going to try and install without the metra steering wheel adapter kit at first to see whether my nav connects directly.

Another concern is i wanted to replace on the licence plate tail lights with a camera+tail light but i can't seem to be able to find a rear view camera for the x-type.

Also my nav unit has input for front camera but i really dont see any use if a front facing camera and when i'd like it to be activated.

Also found this on the harness no wonder we can't use car woofers because there is no connection for woofer. But my nav does support woofer. I wonder what the wiring is like from the jaguar end. Anybody have the wiring diagram for the radio connector for jaguar x-type?

I used this in my XJR6 with premium sound and it works fantastically well.
