When I bought my XJC the fitted Kent Alloy wheels has previously been polished and are OK but could do with a spruce up. I had a set of brand new Kents in the loft and put these on but they are still natural alloy.

I would like to get the old Kents refurbished but there is no one local to me in Canberra who can do it - so anyone know of a business that can polish and repaint my wheels in Sydney or maybe Wollongong.

Garry, whilst I’ve never used anyone for wheels before I remember being told that Neale or Neal wheels were good at refurb. I noticed when googling the name a number of places come up under that name….may be worth following up….

 

Thanks for that Jim. Now there is a blast from the past as Neale Wheels were a major player in the wheel retail scene in the Sydney area in the 80s - every hoon desired to have a set of their wheels on their rust bucket - the car might have been worth $500 but the wheels were priceless.

I did not realise they were still in business so I will give them a call and see what they have to offer.
