I'll kick things off with a story, thought I'd throw this one out and see if this happens to other people. This is my first Jag, and so far every where I go the car attracts some sort of attention. I was driving home tonight and I had a pair of young blokes drive past hanging out the windows with huge grins and thumbs up all round. The other day I had people peering in the windows at the local servo. Walked out of the shop and a guy just standing in front admiring, nice bloke, had a chat, that sort of thing.
Is this normal? I have a subdued taste in cars/bikes, and none of my choices prior to this have garnished this sort of reaction.
Wondering if it is a Jag thing? Don't get me wrong, I love my car, but I didn't think it's looks were that noticeable.
Call me naive, I owned a Ducati that didn't get this sort of reaction.

Yeah, Jags are not so common here so you will get reactions
Not so much with the XF but more so with an XJ
The XJ (x350/358) get confused with the Xtype and the X351 with yours. Its till you go by they not hey that was different. Here in Sydney, as Jags go the XF is getting a lots on the road.
For me I'm sticking with the XJR x350, need a few more years to warm up to the new interior. On the wide side nothing beats blowing away a riceboy at the lights, Thats the most surprised of looks you will get
Anyway welcome and enjoy the ride

And thanks for the welcome. Had the car since April. It is a Jap import and I'm the second NZ owner. Car is immaculate and has done about 55,000Kms. Love it and to keep myself safe I've invested in a detector which so far seems to work well.....

Hi everyone,
After a long wait my Jaguar is finally here with me in Brisbane.
I have a 2003 XKR Coupe that I have imported from the UK.
It's now complianced & registered and in my hands.
Having admired Jags for a very long time, this is the first one I have owned.
I must say I am absolutely loving it
