Thanks for organising it Jim.
My partner said that if she had known that people were making the effort to travel from Sydney she would have come too. Oh well

If you wanted to venture down a bit further south than Goulburn the Collector Pub is a very nice place to have lunch as is the Loaded Dog at Tarago.

I'm not averse to heading up to the Southern Highlands either. :-)

I hoped I might have made the day, but had to travel down to Victoria for a funeral, and didn't come back up through Goulburn until late that Sunday afternoon. My longest trip since buying my X-Type (over 2000 kms), and it was the most comfortable trip to Melbourne I have ever made, and the car performed admirably, with great fuel consumption on the Hume Highway.

That's a shame Bill, I hope all went well for you under the circumstances. Are you up to a spring run to the southern highlands?

Think about a date that suits late September or October.

October is better weather wise, but I have a big month - have to travel to Perth sometime that month for about a week, then have a reunion of Grumman Tracker crews (R.A.N.) at HARS at Albion Park to see one of our old aircraft fly, late in the month. I will try to work to be there.

Late October or even November let's set a date.

Probably 18th, 19th or 26th for me, but possibly earlier in the month would be okay too.
Cheers,
Bill

Excellent we’ll lock in and I’ll send out some PM’s.
All we need now is a place in Bowral for lunch.
