Another option is the Archibald Hotel Bells line of Road, Kurrajong Heights. its like a car/bike show there every weekend. views and good food. Best to book a table on the verandah outside. There's an opportunity to do the loop Richmond/Kurrajong/Bell/Mt Vic then back down the highway through Leura - or the other way aound.

Which one do you recommend? The last one on Bells line of road sounds great.

both, as stated make a day of it. Kurrajong village also good for morning tea shopping on the route.

Yahoo!!! Put me down for that one. Our late night practice laps before competing at "40 Bends" hillclimbs in late '60s & early '70s was the loop from Lithgow via Hartley up to Mt Vic, along the spine to Bell, then back down into Lithgow via Clarence and Scenic Hill.

Be great to catch up with you all there . . .
and do so at a more relaxed, sensible pace.

Cheers,

Ken

I am in Sydney and happy to travel within reason.

Sadly my Jag will be at the hospital over the next couple of weeks. A lady backed into it and hit the driver's side rear quarter panel. Her insurance will pay for the repair. Very unhappy. Finally after 2.5 months her insurance is allowing the repair to go ahead.

Still willing to come to the drive day, just not sure what I will be driving. David (my son) will bring his video camera.

Hey, I thought we were working towards June 4? I'm pretty flexible though I reckon if we wait for a date everyone is ok with we might never get out...
June long weekend would be a PITA tho. extra traffic/crowds/police etc.
And if its bad weather i'll probably pull out and wish you guys a great day.:icon

BTW i'm lower mountains
