Proposed Sydney Workshops meet?

Proposed Sydney Workshops meet?
In the great great Aussie tradition of "you can rely on a friend to drop you right in it" . . . I am asking Richard [rdownunder] to take on this thread to promote and prod all Sydney-sider JF members to organize along lines from his recent post elsewhere . . .
"If we are looking at meeting at a Jag workshop in Sydney, then I have a few suggestions.
"If we are looking at meeting at a Jag workshop in Sydney, then I have a few suggestions.
- Tony Pallas in Brookvale has a number of Jaguars in his workshop under repair or restoration at any one time, including his ex Garry Willmington Group A XJS. I am sure he would be amenable to a group of enthusiasts descending on him.
- Another thought Is Cremorne Prestige in Artarmon, not so much a restoration shop, but a very good Indy service outlet.
- Final thought would be Gavin King's Concours Restoration in Tuggerah, (near Wyong) where he'll have a number of fabulous Jags and Aston Martins undergoing restoration. He also produces very high quality replica lightweight E Types and C types.
So there are a few options to consider, and I'm sure all the proprietors would happily cooperate."
Richard's ideas here are simply brilliant. Perhaps they could form around an evening? Perhaps the latter best served by a "meet at Waitara on-ramp, then convoy up the Freeway".
Cambo broke the ice with his brilliant achievement and great pics at the JDCA Concours. Even us sparsely separated country cousins up north have got a real party cooking at Ballina - again, based on the combined enthusiasm of many members.
Point is this . . . don't leave it all to our new member Richard. Those who have called for a Sydney meet . . . it's time to stand and be counted. Dive in; post your support; help in whatever way you can. Help change the title of this thread from "proposed" to "happening" . . . then follow-up of "it was GREAT!"
Best wishes,
Ken
