Replacement Fuel Tanks for '74 XJ6 S2
Hi all,
Does anyone know a good replacement tank that is available in Australia?
I've heard that secondhand original tanks will eventually rust out because of the metals used in manufacturing.
But i've also heard that aftermarket tanks are ill fitting and can leak at the gauge fitting etc.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I've heard good things about the Canadian Spectra built tanks, but can't seem to find a supplier in Australia.
Cheers,
Evan

Hi mate. We're pulling a series III to bits at the moment. (not much left) It is at my bros place. He's got one tank out and it looks good. I think the other one is okay too. Not sure if they will fit. The car belongs to me, but he has been pulling them out, LOL! so he probably wants a few bucks for them. If they are suitable, give me a pm.
Cheers
Peter
