FOB Transmitter Frequency - For Australia
Hello to all downunder,
RE: 2003 X-Type 2.5L AWD - LE Sports
I understand that FOB X-Mit frequencies vary and are perhaps
governed by regional regulation or legislation?
Viz:
• 315 Mhz - is used for US Market
• 433 Mhz - is used for UK Market
Does anyone know if there is a peculiar frequency for Australia
OR
Is the frequency used in Australia - one of the above..?
All help highly appreciated

Hi guys, one of my fobs died a little while ago and resetting it only helps for a few days before it seems to 'forget' that it's associated with my X-Type. I think i need to replace the fob component of the key but the Jaguar dealer is asking an obscene amount for a fob. I have seen them advertised on eBay etc, can anyone recommend an online seller to get an Australian fob and what to expect in terms of cost?

Howdy Kc,
Had the same problem myself...
I got a NEW replacement unit from a UK eBay source... who have these units at reasonable prices (when in Stock)
Goto: JAGUAR KEY FOB X-TYPE, S-TYPE | eBay
Remembering you need the 433Mhz version - for Australia
Cheers
