Maybe a loaf of bread as well :-).
The weather forecast is for 80% chance of rain on Sunday. Our Jags are built for this English weather but the college will not appreciate vehicles churning up their grounds. Will they notify us if the event is cancelled, Clarke?
Hi Doug, maybe bread rolls will work better.
I will be at the grounds on Saturday, if rain is heavy Saturday it may well be postponed. It is the schools groundsman who makes that call, it is his oval.

Last year we had wet weather but he made the call Saturday that if we didn't get more rain Saturday night he would let cars drive on his grass.

The only way to see a notice is the ABD facebook page after Friday.

https://www.facebook.com/search/top/...risbane%202016

I will be in touch with the committee members by phone Saturday night and Sunday morning.

Maybe if the rest of you PM me your mobile numbers I can keep in touch Sat/Sun early. Not sure how good the FB page works.

We have had forecast for 60% rain the last two days and only got afternoon showers. (I am 5 minutes from the venue).

I'm thinking 2 dozen rolls and a loaf would be plenty.

Just received this from the JDCQ:

I have just been advised by the All British Day committee that Sundays event has had to be postponed due to the wet condition of the grounds and the expectation that there will be further rain.
Their advice:

Unfortunately the playing fields are still wet and any further rain will prevent their use.

Rain predictions for late Saturday and Sunday will also impact on attendance.

Therefore we have made the decision to postpone ABD 2016 until the following Sunday 25 September.

Unfortunately there were a lot of factors that we had to consider before making this decision.

This date may not suit all however it is the best solution available to us at this time.

Default Great Weather & Good Company

The day turned out perfect for the second attempt after last weekends postponement. 11 cars for the day, not a bad turn out at all.

Thank you all for making it a good day out.

Now looking forward to our visit to Peninsula Jag in a couple of weeks.

Default Congratulations and thanks for great pics

What a great turnout of Jaguars . . .
Hearty congratulations Clarke and all the team;
Flying the JF flag proudly at your ABD.

Thanks for sharing such a bevy of great pics;
Only thing missing was a pic of Miss Fireball with boot up . . .
. . . and lineup of glasses of Penfolds Bin 128 Shiraz!

I like sharing so, in return, let me share this link to . . .
. . . another gaggle of Jaguars half a world away . . . <
>
Be patient . . . there's some good close action racing . . .
. . . and a brief epiphet that summed up one driver's not-so-good day!

Keep the pedal down,
But learn when to be brave . . .
. . . and when to back off!

Cheers to all
Ken

Not sure what happened there, your post threw me out of the forum while watching the race clip. When I got back in the post was there twice.
