Wow what good luck.
Went to the Caloundra Aero Musuem today for their engine run day. The British Ford Club (Whatever that means) had their meet and were parked in the compound. Right at the end of the line up was a beautiful 1971 Series 3
E-Type Jag. I thought " what the hey" and asked if I can drive the Blue Goose in the compound and park next to the E-Type for the photo op. They said not probs and wella!
On top of that, I found a couple of other jags parked outside and, to top it off, met the Jaguar Forums very own Henry Crun checking out the aeroplanes too! Bruce I took a sneaky photo of yours on the way out. Hope you dont mind!
Also chanced upon a really cool 1964 Commer Ice Cream Truck too!
Enjoy the pics. The young fella in the photos is my youngest son.
What an awesome day!

Would have headed to Caloundra today with a pilot mate if I wasn't caught up at work from 3am until 7.30pm. Bloody PNG having an election and we were printing the ballot papers. Cool to happen across Bruce(Henry crun) ,I will meet him next weekend at the Euro day.
Saw the Ice Cream truck at last years All British Day.

But the 'Blue Goose' puts those 'others' Cars in the Shade, where financial considerations aside, I wouldn't swap the 'Blue Goose' for an 'e' type. Pic4
The more I keep looking at Pic6, the more I think I'm looking at a photo of myself, we could be Twins!
I'll have to find a photo and then you will see what I mean.

Heh bud. Yeah it was Saturday (yesterday).
Didn't know about a Mt Mee meet! Bummer
Will be there next Sunday for all Euro day though, with bells on! Its gonna be a good day.
I'm heading off to the Abbey Museum today. Apparently the VW Beetle Club is meeting there and my eldest son is nuts on em. I dont think I will be lucky enough to see more Jags today but you never know!
