After the Caloundra Air Museum meet in Junewe nothing planned until All British Day in late September.
I spoke to Murray Scoble (Peninsula Jag Engine Centre ) last week about our group visit, I'll be going down to see him again in a couple of weeks so possibly we could see if August will work for him.
If you have any thoughts or ideas for a meet, please post them.
Here is an Idea, I have been asked by our local school (where my wife works) if I can organise a car show for their 60th anniversary fate. 27th August.
It is a great family day out with lots of good rides, food and bar facilities. I know a few locals with classic cars, and they will advertise in the school newsletter to round up parents/grand parents with cars they may want to bring along.(doesn't have to be a classic)
I will also talk to the guys on the All British Day committee to see if I can round up a few of them too.
At the end of the day we could have a BBQ or something at my place, I'm only a few hundred metres from the school.
If you are interested please post before I have to give an answer.
Clarke & Kirsty (o1xjr)
Paul (paulyling)
Rick & Michelle (Rickxj6)
James (34by151)
Doug (9 Lives)
Plus a couple of local VW's and a Cadillac.
I will update when I have details of the day and if we can go ahead.
I am at the moment waiting to read the insurance disclaimer from the Fete organiser. So far it is looking like all cars will have to registered and insured.
We have a date clash for this one.
Really sorry I'm going to miss the Watt's Bridge open day again this year, but I offered to be the covenor for a car show at our local school 50th anniversary Fete.
Anyone who wants to come along is welcome.

All good Paul.
I'm in process of rounding up local cars new, old, and otherwise, mentioning it on the forums was another way to round up numbers if forum members want to come along.

Hi All,
If anyone is interested in showing their car at this display please send me a PM or post here.
Not many starters at this point but we are going to go ahead with the show even with minimal cars.
The leaving time is now flexible with the school after a few discussions they were rock solid on a 4pm finish but now have agreed to let cars move out at any time.
Even if it is for a couple of hours, any cars displayed would be greatly appreciated by the organisers.
I know this clashes with the Watts Bridge fly in/drive in event but some of you might like an outing closer to home.
