Diff advice
I am running what I've been told in the past is a Mk 10 diff in my kit car.
It's a 3.54 Power Lok variant.
As the mounting in this case is direct to the chassis a lot of noise is transmitted and unfortunately this diff has some amount of whine at power on/off times.
I am trying to understand what I might be able to do to reduce the diff noise of this unit.
Can you still get parts to replace the internals or do I need to consider other options?
I'll try and get a photo up and loaded soon to help with the identification of the diff.
But assuming it is a Mk10 sourced item, what options might I have?
Look forward to the feedback.
Cheers

Steve,
Unless you only want replies from members in Victoria and Tasmania the best place for technical questions is the relevant Model forum rather than this Region forum.
I see from your profile that you are running the Jaguar IRS in a Cobra so this could have been sourced from a very wide range of models and years but the principles are the same. Either XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III forum or MKI / MKII forum are likely to get more Views and a better chance of informed Replies than Mark V - X forum which gets lower user traffic.
