Default Dreaming of a future where Victorians are free to roam

As we are not inside "the ring of steel" we headed off for lunch in the King Valley at Chrismont Winery yesterday, following at a distance (smokey) a nice old S type from our local car club. It made me think that maybe if we all still cant go places perhaps we could list some favourites that may be ammunition for the future. I will get it started with some places we have been with the forum group and our club. Please feel free to add places you might like to recommend.

Chrismont Winery - Italian style , extensive wine selection , great views https://chrismont.com.au/

Harvest Home Pub - Restored country pub, restaurant https://harvesthome.com.au/home/

Radio Spings Hotel - Quirky old pub with geat food https://www.radiospringshotel.com.au/

Ruffy Store - Car club favourite, plenty of parking , rustic ambience and good basic food https://www.ruffy.com.au/

Free at last, or are we? Hang on, just pinching myself to make sure - yep, it's real! Well sort of, still can't see any smiles behind those bloody face masks! Anyway, definitely time for a run. We don't care where to, just so long as we're out and catching up. So, dust covers off the old jalopy, cobwebs blown out, battery charging up as I type....

How about we throw a date out there...perhaps we could say Sat 5th December? If enough are interested it'd probably be wise to lock in a venue pretty quickly, or even consider a decent picnic destination as a backup?

You are right about booking, our region has been swamped all week and more so now the weekend has arrived. During the week there were about 100 bikes lined up in the main st of Marysville. December 5th is our car club xmas party so thats not a goer for us. 28/29 nov is clear if you want weekend. The other option if there isnt interest is to take it offline and you guys just come up for a bbq. At least it gets you out of Dodge :-)

Now officially converted to a planning meeting / BBQ at our place. Hopefully we can set some target dates and venues for 2021.
