Default searching for 2007 Jaguar X Type Fuel Filler Neck

Am hoping a member can point me in the direction of getting a 2007 Jaguar X type Fuel filler neck hose.
My local mechanic is fantastic and when i asked him why i had fuel leaking to the ground when filling the car with fuel, he took a look see and found the
problem was the filler neck. He has tried to source another one but we're not having any luck. Apparently Jaguar are no longer making them.
The mechanic said he might need to make his own, however i thought i would ask here first.
Would be very appreciative if someone could help me find a 2007 jaguar XType fuel filler neck hose pipe.
Suggestions are also most welcome.
Thank you.
Tell Johnson.

Thanks man, Calling you Dopey seems difficult for me.
Apparently getting at the filler neck pipe is not an easy job and also due to the age of the xtype the part might not be in fair condition, i say
all this as i parrot my mechanic. Unfortunately i have no clue about mechanics, i do know i really love this car. My lady has an xf and I prefer driving my xtype car. The steering wheel itself is a work of art and adds something special to the drive.
Mr Dopey, i dont suppose you're interested in retrieving the fuel filler neck and pipe from the Springy wreckers. Probably not and i do understand.
Even though most of the undercarriage of the xtype is ford, i think getting the part new will be impossible.
I do thank you for your suggestion.

sorry mate, not that I don't want to help, but you really need to check the part out to make sure it is correct and to your satisfaction. from what I can see the metal part should be quite durable

have you tried actually calling a dealer to see if the part is available? even if you can get the correct part number for you vehicle it will help narrow down the search.

there are a number of new filler necks advertised on ebay but you will need the part number to match.

checked to see if it was still being made by jag, unfortunately it is not.
