X100 XK8 or XKR ?
Hello . Looking forward to coming on a run when we get a vehicle.
We are in the market for an XK8 or an XKR in the X100 series. 1996-2002.
Wallet says go for the XK8 , heart (and right foot) says go for the XKR.
Either way , they will have to be financed and I am going to have to tip in some of my own hard earned to make it work.
It will be a long term hold for us , so which will be the better future classic?

Peter,
Its an easy decision, follow your heart (and foot) and find the funds to get an XKR.
$45-55k should do it, depending on your standards.
Be patient, wait for the right car and be prepared to travel to get it, interstate if need be.
Good Luck
